Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 18 November 2025 – RUA AlHaram AlMakki Company, the PIF Company, master developer and Foundation Partner of Cityscape Global 2025, has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB) to explore investment in one of the Company’s plots in Makkah. The MoU was signed during Cityscape Global in Riyadh, where RUA AlHaram AlMakki Company made its debut showcase of King Salman Gate to stakeholders, investors, and media.
The MoU establishes a framework for collaboration through which both parties will explore a range of potential investment opportunities within RUA AlHaram AlMakki Company’s projects in Makkah. These may include joint development of land parcels, direct investment in select plots, or participation in private credit and equity products created by RUA AlHaram AlMakki Company.
Established in 1991 as Brunei Darussalam’s first fully Shariah-compliant financial institution, Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei brings more than three decades of Islamic banking and investment expertise to the partnership. The collaboration underscores the shared commitment of both organizations to advancing faith-based investments that contribute to the development of the Holy City and support the global Muslim community.
The agreement highlights the growing international interest in RUA AlHaram AlMakki Company’s projects and its role in enabling global participation in the development of Makkah.
