Makkah, Saudi Arabia, 13 November 2025 – The future of urban living in the Holy City of Makkah will take center stage at Cityscape Global 2025 in Riyadh from 17–20 November, as RUA AlHaram AlMakki Company, a PIF company, unveils its inaugural and transformative project, King Salman Gate.
Announced last month by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of RUA AlHaram AlMakki Company, King Salman Gate is an integrated mixed-use destination spanning 12 million square meters Gross Floor Area (GFA) adjacent to AlMasjid AlHaram.
As a Foundation Partner of this year’s edition of Cityscape Global, RUA AlHaram AlMakki Company will unveil an experiential booth that embodies the spirit and typography of Makkah. At the heart of the booth will be a scaled maquette model of King Salman Gate’s masterplan. A synchronized light and sound show will bring the masterplan model to life, showcasing the key elements of this landmark development, from residential and hospitality areas to prayer spaces.
King Salman Gate is an integrated mixed-use destination, offering residential, hospitality, commercial, and cultural experiences. With capacity for over 900,000 prayer spaces across indoor and outdoor areas with seamless connection to public transportation networks, the destination ensures easy access and comfort for millions arriving from across the world.
Beyond its scale, King Salman Gate is committed to preserving Makkah’s cultural roots. The development will restore and develop approximately 19,000 square meters of heritage and cultural sites, celebrating the city’s architectural legacy.
Expected to generate more than 300,000 jobs by 2036, King Salman Gate will contribute to the long-term economic growth and national transformation of Saudi Arabia as part of Vision 2030.
Cityscape Global 2025 will bring together over 40 countries and 80 international developers, serving as a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and urban innovation. RUA AlHaram AlMakki Company’s participation underscores its dedication to creating world-class destinations that reflect Makkah’s heritage and global importance.
Visitors can find the King Salman Gate booth at H1.H10 during Cityscape Global.
